This event will bring together a large gathering of Indigenous Elders, Shamans, Lamas and Medicine People from Africa, Tibet, Nepal, Peru, Korea, Japan and other countries; to come to the UK and highlight the connection between slavery, colonialisation and global warming: It also aims to ensure that people living in Britain have the opportunity to participate in a fair and equitable commemoration event, that is represented by all of the indigenous peoples who were affected by the slave trade and who did not get funds to represent themselves in 2007. In 2007 large amounts of funding were directed to Museums and City Councils who took part and benefited from the Slave Trade. Could you offer a work placement to one of these students? All types of work are needed: office, retail, catering, care homes, garages, hairdressing etc. The placements are two weeks long, the average age of the students is 15, there is no financial cost involved, we do all the paperwork for you - the only requirement is that you have Employers Liability Insurance.
